EMPRESS MARKET Karachi

Empress Market is situated in Saddar, and traces its origins to the British Raj era. It was constructed between 1884 and 1889, and was named to commemorate Queen Victoria, Empress of India. Commodities sold here range from condiments, fruit, vegetables and meat to stationary material, textiles and pet shops.  It is amongst the most popular and busy places for shopping in Karachi and reflects as one of the few historical spots of the city.  Many people from all over Karachi come to this market for shopping, despite its location in one of the most congested areas of the city. First zoo built to international standards opens in Bahria Town Karachi

Karachi gets a new zoo at Bahria Town, where  Danzoo  has been opened for general public which offers quality entertainment for families. Danzoo is a modern day and night safari park which houses a variety of wild animals and birds imported from across the World.  Danzoo Bahria Town Video Bahria Town Karachi  conducted the opening ceremony of Danzoo on 15th May 2018, and general public is allowed to enjoy the joyful rides of day night safari from 16th May. The rides include buggy ride, boat ride and water cycle ride. The Safari Park is spread over a large area where wild animals and birds are kept in their reserved cages, and you can take a tour de danzoo by buggy ride. Danzoo opens daily at 12:00 noon till 11:00 PM at night. Entry ticket will be charged per person, and you can buy ticket for each ride you want. DESERTS OF PAKISTAN

Deserts, in Pakistan, make up a large part of the country’s geography, especially in the central and south-eastern regions. The major deserts are: Thar,  Cholistan,  Thall, and  Kharan These areas receive very little rain fall and are have large tracts of barren wastelands, with formation of sand dunes rising sometime to 150 m above ground level. The desert areas also support wildlife including desert gazelles, bustards, jackals, foxes, wild cats, lizards and snakes etc. Despite harsh living conditions these desert areas are also inhabited by a significant number of people and livestock. The desert people mostly lead a semi-nomadic life and move from one place to another in search of water and fodder for their animals. The specific desert life style of the people has also given rise to very unique cultures, traditions and arts.

Mohatta Palace Karachi,Sindh

The Mohatta Palace is located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It was built by Shivratan Chandraratan Mohatta, a Hindu Marwari businessman from modern day Rajasthan in India, as his summer home in 1927. The architect of the palace was Agha Ahmed Hussain. However Mohatta could enjoy this building for only about two decades before the independence in 1947, after which he left Karachi for India. He built the Palace in the tradition of stone palaces in Rajasthan, using pink Jodhpur stone in combination with the local yellow stone from Gizri. The amalgam gave the palace a distinctive presence in an elegant neighborhood, characterized by Indo-Saracenic architecture which was located not far from the sea. At Partition in 1947, Mohatta Palace was acquired by the newly established Government of Pakistan to house its Ministry of Foreign Affairs. SATEEN JO AASTAN (SEVEN SISTERS)

Sateen Jo Aastan is located on the left bank of the Indus River near Rohri, Sindh, Pakistan. The site is home to the folklore of the Seven Sister, but is also the tomb of Mir Ab Al-Qasim Namkeen.  Although the place is not too big, the Indus River has made beautiful and peaceful.  Visitors can relax and spot blind dolphins in the Indus, while looking at the Lansdowne Bridge in the background.  Seven Sisters Rohri, also known as Sateen Jo Aastan, is the resting place for the Seven Sisters. According to folklore seven beautiful unmarried women resided here and veiled ( purdah ) themselves from all males, also referred to as  sattei .  A Raja at that time came to know about their beauty and ordered his people to bring those seven sisters in front of him. KIRTHAR NATIONAL PARK

The Kirthar National Park, a vast rugged national park in southwest Sindh, is situated in the Kirthar Mountain range near Karachi. It was founded in 1974 and stretches over 3,087 km² (about 1200 mi²), being the second largest National Park of Pakistan after  Hingol National Park . The fauna comprises leopards, striped hyenas, wolves, ratels, urials, chinkara gazelles and rare Sindh wild goats. It is home to two wildlife sanctuaries —  Hub Dam Wildlife Sanctuary  and  Mahal Kohistan Wildlife Sanctuary  — as well as the  Surjan, Sumbak, Eri and Hothiano game reserves. Ranikot fort  is also located within the Kirthar Park boundaries. However it is easily accessible, even without a 4x4, following a dirt road near Sann on Indus Highway. Kirthar Park offers a unique and incredible landscape rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. The park is accessible by jeep able tracks. There are two rest houses of the Sindh Wildlife Department, at Karchat and Khar, for tourists to stay.

FAIZ MAHAL Khairpur Sindh

Faiz Mahal was built in 1798 by   Mir Sohrab Khan, who established the Khairpur branch of the Talpur Mirs, and was the residence of rulers of Khairpur State.  The building has a unique architectural design and seems to have been designed by a professional engineer.  Inside, the center of the Mahal consists of a huge hall wall with portraits of Maharajas and Princes giving the impression of sheer royalty in addition to the usual comfort and luxury of palaces. The palace is also famous as ‘Lakhi Bangla’ as it cost the owners Rs.100,000 (one lakh) at that time. Khairpur district was a separate state in Indian Subcontinent and it was ruled by the Talpur Mirs during Talpur Dynasty (1783-1955).
